Visual identity created for Navigate Homes, a well-established but newly independently branded custom and semi-custom homebuilder in the Iowa City area. The name Navigate was selected for its dual representation of the strength and guidance provided in the land purchasing and homebuilding process and its symmetry with the established SouthGate Companies parent brand.
The Navigate Homes icon is formed from an interlocking house and plot of land, demonstrating the intersection of the land (that Navigate owns) and the structure, which Navigate can build. The house also serves as an upwards directional mark, representative of Navigate’s role in guiding customers through the homebuilding process, and together with the plot of land land forms a trestle shape.
